Daoist Medical Qigong Practitioner (MQP)
White Cloud Inner Arts offers primary level certification for those interested in pursuing a career in the healing arts. A 200-hour Daoist Medical Qigong Practitioner (MQP) certificate will be issued to students who have successfully completed the four-course training program described below, plus a clinical internship.
The certification program offered by White Cloud Inner Arts is based upon the curriculum that has been established at the Medical Qigong College at the Hai Dian University and used clinically at the Xi Yuan Medical Qigong Hospital in Beijing, China.
Course #1 – Introduction to Medical Qigong Therapy – 32 hrs. You’ll gain a thorough understanding of Medical Qigong exercises and how these exercises may be used to promote optimal health conditions of both mind and body. The first course gives you a basic understanding of the three regulations of medical qigong.
Course #2 – Introduction to Medical Qigong Diagnosis and Treatments – 32 hrs. The second course lays the foundation for developing your diagnostic skills and enhances your ability to detect energtic imbalances in patients. You’ll cultivate clinical and therapeutic skills based from a Tradtional Chinese Medicine perspective.
Course #3 – Clinical Foundations of Medical Qigong Therapy – 32 hours. The third course offers a comprehensive overview of the governing principles associated with Traditional Chinese Medical Qigong, with topics ranging from Daoist mysticism to qi emitting methods.
Course #4 – Medical Qigong Treatment of Internal Organ Diseases and Prescription Exercises – 32 hours. The fourth course introduces advanced theories and treatments for the major organs, including the liver, heart, lung, spleen and kidney. You’ll learn how to diagnose and prescribe treatment based on Traditional Chinese Medical Qigong principiles.
C1 – Clinical Theater, Internship, and Final Examination – This five-day seminar will be the culminating event for the MQP certification program. Beyond the theoretical and practical exams, it offers the student exposure and first hand experience of Medical Qigong diagnoses and treatments. The student will study and experience different aspects of energetic dysfunctions and symptom manifestations. The instructor will guide and assist in all phases of diagnosis and treatment during the Clinical Theater and Internship phases.

• Applying advanced diagnosis and advanced energetic modulation skills

If the student has successfully completed all requirements for their respective certificate program, a certificate will be issued at the end of this seminar.
Students will be confident in diagnosing and treating patients, as well as creating and maintaining accurate clinical records. Prerequisite: seminars for MQP (1 – 4).
C1 – Clinical Externship – In the clinical internship, the academic and theoretical knowledge gained in the medical qigong courses gets put into practical application. The objective is for the student to become confident in diagnosing and treating patients, as well as creating and maintaining accurate clinical records.
After completing “Introduction to Diagnosis and Treatments” (Course 2), the student should begin to treat patients and gain clinical experience. As the student gains experience and attends more advanced courses their knowledge and abilities will increase as will their abilities to diagnose and treat more challenging cases.The exams will include written, oral, and practical examinations plus clinical competencies.
The student is expected to keep complete histories on patient which include patient histories, treatments, and prescription exercises.
Previous to completing certification for MQP, the student must provide copies of clinic log (verifying clinic hours), a sample of patient histories, and case studies.

Program Details & Pricing
The program consists of five sessions. Each of the sessions is five days long from 9am-5pm.The fee for each session is $1,200. Early bird registration cost is $1,100. To qualify for early bird price, you must enroll at least 30 days prior to the session date.
